Efpi Records represents a group of Manchester based musicians and promoters exploring the various areas of improvised, jazz and experimental music. The founding members are Anton Hunter [The Noise Upstairs], Sam Andreae [Freedom Principle] and Ben Cottrell [Beats & Pieces Big Band].

Efpi Records is a continuation of the projects each of us already runs and a place where musical ideas can be shared and developed. The first of our releases are now available and more full length albums and EPs are in the works – we will also frequently be making live recordings and informal sessions available through our blog. The website will be kept updated with upcoming gigs featuring Efpi artists and general nuggets of information about Efpi Records and artists close to the label.
